橡塑绝热保温材料的安装应注意以下几点：

1、 所有的割隙、接头都需用东洋牌胶水粘接密封。

2、 安装后所有的三通、弯头、阀门、法兰和其他附件都需达到设计厚度。

3、 胶水粘结时不要太用力，所有材料间的接口应在轻微挤压下粘合。

4、 安装时应先大管后小管，先弯头、三通后直管，zui后阀门、法兰。

5、 当安装冷冻水管和制冷设备时，橡塑管材的两端和铁管之间的空隙都需涂上胶水粘结起来，粘接宽度应不等于橡塑材料厚度。

6、 管道的割隙口应尽量安装在不显眼处，且两条管材的割隙口应相互错开。

7、 机器在使用中不要安装。装好后36小时内切勿开机。

8、 大管径橡塑管由于包装关系已变成椭圆形，剖开时请剖较扁平的那边。

保温橡塑板具有特别好的的弹性，所以用在管道的时候如果出现震动或是共振，将会减少管道的损坏。保温橡塑板不但弹性良好，而且还有不错的韧性，如果用在不规则的管道，保温橡塑板会随着管道的弯曲程度而弯曲。所以安装的时候很方便，节省材料。如果是用在造船领域，橡塑板的抗酸性及抗碱性就起到了很大的作用。能够有效减少海水的侵蚀。
